Overview
Following the 2019 devastating Australian Bush fires in the Gold Coast Hinterland RAM were engaged to undertake emergency Rock Fall Protection works on slopes made dangerous due to destruction of vegetation.
Solution
RAM provided a large resource of multi skilled personnel at short notice to undertake Rope Access Rock Scaling, Tree Removal, Installation of Rock Fall Protection drape mesh systems, Rockfall Barriers, Soil Nailed walls, micro piles and shotcrete.
The Binna Burra Rock Fall Protection Project was awarded first place in the Queensland Major Contractors Association Awards for Best Project Under $100 mil.
