Overview
RIX Asset Maintenance was awarded the contract to design and install a rock fall protection system at a lead and copper mine in NSW.
Solution
The Rock Fall System was designed in partnership with Geobrugg to protect the Haul Road and portal entry to the underground workings from falling rocks. RAM scaled the high walls by hand and installed 8,000m2 of Geobrugg Minax Drape. All work was undertaken by RAM IRATA rope access crew. The works were completed within the clients budget and with no incidents.
