Overview
The landslip originated from a cliff face within the Scenic Rim Council Reserve, where upon large boulders and debris, travelled down the slope and damaged road Infrastructure. Due to the damage caused by the rain event a significant Rockfall Hazard required a Slope Stabilisation Solution to make the road safe.
Solution
RIX Asset Maintenance worked with the client and designers to develop the Rockfall Protection System. The final installed system included an active mesh drape system, Attenuator Rockfall Barrier and GBE Rockfall Barrier supplied by Geobrugg Australia.
